Blackstone LaunchPad has partnered with Basta to offer career coaching sessions to all UCSC students. These sessions will be available with coaches and career experts until early June 2024.

If you’re exploring potential career paths, or if you’re preparing to apply for internships or jobs and need assistance with your resume, cover letter or LinkedIn profile, consider registering to attend Discovery. Climate Action Solutions Incubator Program

The Innovation & Business Engagement Hub’s Climate Action Solutions Incubator Program provides small-scale supplemental project funding and access to capacity-building workshops and mentorship in order to advance action-oriented solutions being developed at UC Santa Cruz that have the potential to address one or more of California’s most pressing climate challenges.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with a maximum of $10,000 awarded to selected projects.

Looking for a PAID summer 2024 internship? Blackstone LaunchPad can help! LaunchPad’s employer partners are offering 300+ student internships. Take your first steps now to make sure you don’t miss this opportunity!

Blackstone LaunchPad’s trusted network of employer partners are eager to hire student interns in industries such as technology, health sciences, renewable energy, real estate, finance, manufacturing, and more. These full-time positions are paid (upwards of $20/hour) and last 8-12 weeks throughout the summer.

Slug Tank

Slug Tank is finally around the corner! Slug Tank is a startup pitch event organized and put on by the Student Creativity and Entrepreneurship Empowerment group on campus. Participants will present in person with an audience on February 26th, 2024 at 6:00 pm.

Slug Tank is a great opportunity where you can pitch your business and startup ideas. Presentations will be judged by experienced entrepreneurs and investors. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. Slug Tank provides the opportunity to help you test the viability of your ideas and receive valuable feedback.

 

UC Santa Cruz – Nucleate Innovation Fellowship (Recently offered in 2024, will be offered again)

Gain hands-on experience in life sciences innovation and entrepreneurship through this partnership with Nucleate. Fellows work on independent projects, network with peers and industry experts, and receive mentorship from academic and industry professionals.
