QB3-UCSC Graduate Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Excellence

QB3-UCSC offers fellowships to top incoming graduate students in select programs at UCSC who have demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary research and education in areas of importance to the QB3.

This award provides funding for a research stipend, graduate student registration fees, health fees, and tuition (as appropriate). It may be combined with other funding  to constitute a complete funding package for the first-year graduate student. The QB3-UCSC Graduate Fellowship in Interdisciplinary Excellence also includes a $5,000 research allowance.

An additional application beyond the graduate program application is not required for this fellowship program. Students who are selected will be notified by the department or program to which they’ve applied.
